We at Salumeria are opening a brand new location in the heart of Spinola. Yeah, bad timing one would say, indeed! However not everything is doom and gloom!
For this reason we couldn’t help but tell you all one of our many plans for this beautiful garden that we are going to (eventually) be operating.
“A communal space for likeminded people who feel the need to connect with nature.”
The Plan
We are going to set up a corner where volunteers could come and de-stress through gardening exercises. Various activities will be organised such as:
- Plant swapping
- Propagation days
- Planting of routed plants
- Plant rescue ( where people could bring in a dying plant to seek advice from fellow green thumb volunteers)
- Classes

After you say I do (to yourself), get in contact with us and keep your eyes peeled to stay abreast with the info as it happens! In the mean time there are many ways one could get a head start with ones own house plants.
Many plants could be water propagated. This means that you cut off a piece from the stem and place it in a jar of water. (its not as simple as that, but not terribly hard either), just YouTube “water propagation” and get started!

What about Salumeria in Valletta?
The global pandemic, Covid-19 is the reason why we are temporary closed. As soon as the government allows, everything will be back on track.
We will be operating Salumeria Valletta & Salumeria Gardens in tandem.
